I am looking at getting a HUMAX FOXSAT-HDR FREESAT RECORDER 320GB.

However just checking my sky dish I only have one lead, can you get some sort of splitter that enables me to watch one channel and record another? (LNB1) and (LNB2) ?

Welcome to the Forum

No, but you can operate the HDR in single cable mode with surprising dual record flexibility on many channels.

If you search in this forum for "single cable" you'll see lots about it (or I'm sure Graham will be along soon to give you chapter & verse

)

If you have MS Excel, Graham Thompson has produced a good Clash Detector application that will show you what you can do with single cable. Link Here.

Or, run another cable from your dish/LNB, it is fairly easy.
