After their disappointing last release of Up All Night, their new single Said It All has not even reached the Top 100 yet on Itunes....

Personally i think its down to the fact, their new song sounds the same as their last ones to be honest, its nothing new. Its basically nothing we haven't heard before.

The song is actually quite good but just seems all too familar.

Do they look set to flop with this single?

Will they promote?

Can they turn it around?

Discuss here.

Well I consider myself a Take That fan (Sort of) but I really don't enjoy their new album that much and it didn't excite me enough to listen to it more than about twice. I think the single choices have been pretty poor (I absolutely hate Greatest Day now, especially after it was played to death on Radio 1) and I don't think Said It All is anything special. 'Up All Night' I quite liked, but it never really struck me as a good single.

All that said, I'm looking forward to their concert in July cuz they always put on a good show!! I just think their new materials a bit boring!

I agree with the greatest day bit, its just ridiculous how much they played that and still play it to death now! I listen to heart quite a lot and they are such huge fans of take that, you can tell. They play every take that song possible every hour...lol.

I mean i'm actually a take that fan and thought singles patience through to rule the world were by far the best, but then it went downhill from then on. sorry guys...

I think all their fans have got the album by now, so it's not really a suprise.

They should have released 'How Did It Come To This?' or something. The album is a bit of a mixed bag with a few of tracks being really pointless - You, Julie, What Is Love. Said It All is one of the best but it was never gonna do anything as a single. Singles are a totally different game than what they were. The best thing is to put 2 or 3 'focus tracks' out there around the time the record comes out instead of doing another single release months down the line.

This is it. They haven't flopped in anyway. It's just the album sold one million in a month so any singles after that had no chance!

Yes, they have flopped so badly they only sold 1 million tickets for their tour.

Might as well pack it in now.

Their fanbase is strong enough for them not to need so much chart success anymore.

I like "Julie" best on the new album. Lovely song. Not fussed on the new single choice.

I think you misunderstand my point, i meant that they were failing on their singles and not the tour.

As i said earlier, i'm actually a take that fan and am disappointed they are doing badly but if you think about it, their recent songs have been s**t....lets be honest...

Oh I love that song. Looks like I'm in the minority though!

They've sold millions of copies of the album already though, most people who like it will already own it, and I don't think it's been muchly publicised? I didn't even know they were releasing another song.

I doubt they are bothered, they will make far more money off the tour than off any album or single sales. There are many bands out there who do not chart well, even in albums, let can easily sell out a stadium tour.

I love 'Said It All' - they have sold so many copies of their album that it's not suprising that their singles don't sell as many copies
