Britney has not had any interviews in years from what i remember.

The last time she actually spoke in an interview that i can remember was TRL 5 years ago over here.

She did appear on Frank Skinner and Jonathan Ross before. But will that sort of interview happen again??

She did an interview if i can remember for David Letterman confirming her second pregnancy but thats probably the last time in US.

I hope she does one again, maybe an interview of Jonathan Ross before, during or after the tour in the UK.

She did an interview on Letterman announcing her divorce, didn't she?

I don't think she will, some people don't anymore.

I wish people would get over the lip synching, it's overly pathetic now. She's been doing it for nearly a decade and yet haters still continue to cling on it cause it's the only thing they have to critcise. Britney fans know when they goto her concert what they're paying for, we don't go for the live vocals and perfect voice, we go for the spectacle and the show, and if you don't like it don't buy her albums, comment on stories about her and slag her off at any given opportunity- it's pathetic.

Answering the OP's question, I think this era is just getting her back on her feet, and next era will be more similar to ITZ where she did a more dedicated promotion circuit. And For The Record was pretty much an interview in itself so I think that's meant to spur us on until the next era. I'd love her to appear on shows like GMTV, Loose Women, Paul O'Grady and get some promotion done over here.

Well said. Love your post. I am going to her concert next week and looking forward to it, i am fully aware of the miming because i went to the Onyx Hotel Tour the last time but the show was outstanding and just out of this world, the set, the dancing was just flawless.

and yeah, i would love for her to appear on shows like Loose Womem and Paul O'Grady.

I doubt it anytime soon! I don't know what it is with her that she doesnt feel the need to appear on chat shows to promote her music or do promos on tv shows, It's like she thinks shes better than everyone else and has no need to, I want the old Britney back, I still don't think she is fully better yet..

I do agree with you there. I loved it when she used to promote and genuinely had fun doing it too, she was always so down to earth and sweet.

She really should, and needs to promote more.

&thankyou Scooby, I'm going to the Manchester gig.

She could do Jonathen Ross as it's a big show,

It's funny that the britney haters always slag of her mimeing, she's been doing it for the past 10 years and has and is very succesfull, I don't go for vocals I go for a show pack with entertainment and that's what britney gives. I'm going next week and can not wait!!!

The whole miming situation is bigger now than it ever was, More people are commenting on it and noticing..I think whenever she has a next album coming out, She will have to do a few ballads and sing some of those live on TV or something, She needs to do that, I have always liked her and think her music is great and i wish her all the best, but i just think for the amount of money people spend on her records and shows, she needs to give something back to her fans that tells them she has talent and is a good singer..In the past she used to mime but also do sing live SOMETIMES but nowadays she just doesnt do anything, They don't even change the track to make it sound more live..they just play the cd. I'm hoping she takes a year or so off and concentrates on getting back to the bubbly and fun self that she was, and show us why we all loved her in the first place! I wish her all the best!

She did use to sing SOME of her performances live but usually it was when she was promoting a certain song. She can still sing because this album shows off her vocals better than the last one so I hope with the next album she does sing live a few times even if it is one song.

But her fans including me don't care if she mimes, it hasn't stopped her being one of the worlds best selling artists.

I would love for her to do The Sunday night project as it's not really serious show and she would have fun with Allen Carr and JLC, plus Alan said he loves britney and would love her on the show.
