Makes me laugh when the manufactured crap such as the spice girls, girls aloud etc are called bands. What do they actually play? Lip sync bunch of phoneys. Brit chix whilst not being very good at least tried to actually play, for wannabe rock chicks what the hell were they doing covering a spice girls song? The image they were trying to portray didnt go with the choice of song, bit like Alice Cooper doing Donny Osmond

I hate to say it cause it sounds sexist, but why the hell is it acceptable for girl bands to be absolutely atrocious as long as they look nice? In their audition they were shite, and they were tonight as well. They can't play, they can't sing, and if a band of 3 guys came on pulling that crap they'd have been sent home at the first audition.

Ah-haa, so they don't fit in with your sense of conformity and normality and that makes them weird?

I couldn't help but feel a little sorry for them. They weren't even given a chance. Lousy song also and I'll dare bet they were told to do it as opposed to picking one of their own.

A fine example of cannon fodder.

I'm not surprised they were buzzed!

I thought they were pretty bad, but what was the ending booing about? Again, a disgrace

I thought they were booing the judges for buzzing them off - I hope so, anyway, as I hate to see the acts booed off.

I was impressed. They can PLAY instruments.Unlike all the other clone singers with backing tracks. They should be applauded.

Don't think these are it but I think there's a gap in the market for a young girls on guitar rock chicks band. Avril Lavigne does well out of it though she's more of a solo artist with a backing band.

They didn't deserve to be buzzed out though, far worse "acts" get to perform the full allotted slot and then get heaped with praise.

Ah OK I hope so too then, if the girls themselves were being booed that's very sad I don't think the judges should have buzzers in the semis IMO, just let them do the whole act. The buzzers make it more like The Gong Show

they need to choose the right song. last night's song choice (and their audition come to that) were wrong for them. with the right song we could work out whether they are good or not.

True. Wannabe was an awful choice of song.

I quite enjoyed their performance and didn't think they were that bad. By the way they were just on 'this morning' and said it was them who choose that song, not the producers.

Technically, yeah, their singing wasn't amazing but they had energy, and original take on that spice girls song, and it was fun. I thought they should've been allowed to finish.

That wasnt why i was calling them weird, but now that you mention it yes, that is a contributing factor to their weirdness. Most people dont look like that, therefore they are weird. FACT. And dont say its not fact, its opinion because i do psychology and they deviate from social norms. So they are weird

I felt sorry for them getting buzzed off like that.
They did choose an appauling shouty song and started badly. I can imagine that they are so much better than that performance last night. Shame.

Quite obviously they dressed and did hair and make up like that when they're performing. Nothing weird about it, alot of bands do it, I suppose you think the members of KISS walk about like that all the time.

Just because you're a psychology student, it doesn't mean you are right.

Most musical acts dress up to make an impression - that doesn't make them weird, it means they are developing a 'look'.

They aren't weird. It's not unusual, I've seen that style of dress often. Therefore they don't deviate from social norms, therefore they're not weird. And I have a GCSE in sociology and an MA in rock band fashion, so I'm clearly right.

They were OK. As good as barrowmen, OAP breakdancer, Sharleen Jaffacakes, fat flashing tits, and so on.
