Do former BGT winners get paid a lot for doing tv apperences?

well Pol Potts is estimated to be worth in the region of 6M but he sure does a lot of running about all over the globe for this as his twitter shows.

I would expect a personal appearance to be in the region of 4 - 5k for telly.

you don't get money for appearances on GMTV etc ..they are PR

you get the decent money for cooperate gigs ...5k upwards can go to 100k for superstars

Well it depends i think in some cases the bigger names do get paid for programmes like Loose Women and GMTV whereas the less known stars go on for Pr reasons i could be wrong though

I would think that if you are there purely for an interview then maybe a nominal sum would be paid. If on the other hand you are there to give a performance, as Faryl did on GMTV when she did not have an interview but sang "The Way Old Friends Do". Then I would imagine that her manager would secure a fee. After all it is the trails of which celeb or artist is appearing on the show that attracts the viewers.
