She obviously has the makings of a great singer with the voice she has for a 12 year old child. But i do think after BGT if she wants to do it professionally she needs a lot of vocal coaching and her grandad to stop and just support her to make it.

I had the impression that's why he went on the show with her - to get her noticed (as his voice is nothing special). I think she'll be a good singer too.

I didn't think her voice was that great tbh, but with training she could improve. If she wants to get anywhere as a singer - or on stage in any capacity - she needs to not only drop Grandad, but develop some personality.

The personality will probably change as she grows up, grandad was probably there to help her nerves so you cant blame her for that. Be interesting to see whether she tries to make it or whether after singing lessons she is still at the same level but obviously has BGT exposure.

She can sing quite well but her voice sounds quite generic, the type that you hear in theatres across the country. If she can act she has a future in musicals rather than any kind of recording contract.

She was OK I guess. Is it just me that thinks she looks weirdly like Faryl from last year??

2Grand remind me of something from Peter Kayes "Pop Factor" like 2up2Down, the Mowgli kid reminded me of the indian costume R Wayne wore, and Susan Boyle reminds me of Geraldine.

I think Cowell just used Kayes script this year!

A few people have said that lol but i cant see it. I wonder if she can act as like a poster said her voice might not be at the level for a solo recording artist but i definitely think she should carry on and has a future singing.

I think Sallie had a good voice for her age and with training she will get better

I think they've got to the final because of the "ahhh, they're so sweet together" feeling, not due to any remarkable singing ability. I don't think their act is inherently special or good, but there's no doubting they have a feel good factor and to almost quote Piers Morgan, they do sum up the appeal of the show.

Yeah I knew what he meant with that. I didnt think they'd get to the final, I thought it would be Calum.

I agree. Sallie sang well for her young age and had obviously worked very hard. I thought she was quite good but nowhere in the league of Shaheen. John seemed very much in charge and he had quite a nice voice too.
They were "sweet" together. It is just a pity about the sickly speech by Grandad about the late Grandma after their performance and I wondered if that was what made Sallie cry.

I didn't see that part, I'm sure he didnt mean to make her cry but not surprising if it stirred up memories

I actually prefer Sallie to the likes of Shaheen. She's very much a spirited amateur with not much singing experience ; he on the other hand has professional stage school type written all over him.

I agree.. Sally has not had any training apart from herself and her grandad, and she has a lovely voice.. with the proper guidance she could mold it into a great operatic voice and go into the theatre or keep at it and audition for another one of these X factor shows down the line. Great for a 12 year old though, and I much prefer her to Susan Boyle or Shaheen, all overhyped nonsense

Me neither - nothing better than someone who is efoortlessly good and talented than someone who is trying to work it too hard.

I like Sallie because she sounds like a 12 year old girl, she isn't trying to be an adult before she's ready. Is the act worth £100k? Of course not, but its the grandfather/granddaughter relationship that has got them through as much as anything.

I completely agree with the first poster. I think the Grandad's an okay fella, but he needs to realise that his singing days are over - he needs to. If Sallie gets to sing on her own, she could be fantastic. She's not the BEST of singers right now, but, once she gets a bit of coaching on breathing and what not, then, whao. She instantly made me take notice when she first started singing, she really did. I'm so glad she got through as that would have been a tragedy if she didn't. Her voice might not be angel like, but bloody hell, it's good though.

She has a good voice but I don't think I would have enjoyed it if she was singing without her grandad. Grandad doesn't have a great voice but the duet made it more interesting.

That's what the show needs, a bit of love - not overpolished rehearsed 100times tripe !!

The show is called Britain's Got Talent, which means, talent, and not love between a partnership

I do agree with you slightly, but it is an entertainment show as well, which means they'll have to provide some entertainment as in critisizing the acts that don't make it through.
