She's spent her whole life trying to be noticed for her singing,
as well as looking after her mother and living with her cat. She claimed to have never been kissed, and that turned out to be just 'banter' (from her own words). What we see on screen before and after her singing is the real Susan Boyle. A little playful, a little fiery, a little crazy. Her recent outbursts are the real Susan Boyle. A little sweary, a little threatening and a little out of control.
Whether she has learning difficulties or not is not the issue. The fact that the real Susan Boyle is hidden under this false image that has been fed to us by the media and herself, is what it's about.
People could say that I just don't see it, and that's fair enough. But what I do see is what others don't see, and that's also fair enough. We all see different things in people, and some will always see the positives and miss the negatives and others will be vice versa.
