Welcome to the Forums

I've also got this on a Series Link, and it's been OK for me.

Even though it failed, did it play? (It quite often will, unless it's a 0 minute file). Did you inadvertently press the Stop button on the remote, and cancel the recording? Did it put it at the bottom of your Media List, instead of in the Folder? Did the Scheduled Timers move onto the next day's episode, or was it stuck in your schedule for the past day, and you manually had to reschedule it again?

Rgds.

Les, thanks for reply,

Yes it was in a seperate folder - not the original - and it had 0 mins recording time.It also recorded the following nights programme without any intervention from me.

So what I have is reset the humax to its factory settings then scanned in all the freesat channels. So far so good, but what confuses me is that the PVR knew it had failed hence the error message, implying some external issue. Any way fingers crossed.

I don't think we'll get to the bottom of this now, as GBM has finished so no more "tests" available, and you have done the reset.

I don't think you needed to do the reset, as it does look like an odd external issue because you actually got a failed 0 min file (not just nothing, if you see what I mean), and your Timer correctly moved on. But, no harm in the reset, apart from having to reset all your Timers.

Rgds.
