Hi, I managed to copy Dr Who in HD (It was protected at one time) from my Freesat + box. However, The VLC player cannot play the file. Does anyone know how I could use to watch the file on my computer? Thanks

From what I gather, its still protected and you cant watch it on the PC.

You can copy protected stuff off the PVR but have to copy it back on there to watch it.

Someone correct me if thats wrong.

It's still encrypted, so although you can now copy it to usb, you can only play it by uploading it back to the hdd on the hdr that recorded it.

Thanks for the help. Guess I will have to wait for a Blue-Ray release.
