How pushy did she seem?
If that was my daughter I would of taken her off the stage and somewhere private she is obviously not ready

I agree. Her mum made me feel very uncomfortable. If my child freaked out, I'd hold her in my arms and remove her from the situation asap.

How very politically correct!!!

I think the word you are looking for is "mother".

Exactly.

What did anyone realistically expect? For her to tell her off?

FFS.....................the girl wanted to sing again...........her mother felt for her................how much harm would she have done to the child if she had grabbed her and walked off refusing to let her try again! Do you have children?

She's obviously not ready yet for the big stage, her parent's should now realise this and stop encouraging/ or pushing her to do it! She can always come back in a couple of years when she might be able to handle it better.

People need to remember her mother created an "act" with her earlier in the series - this was just another one

If that had been my child I'd have removed her from the stage not asked for another go

Typical pushy stage mum living her dreams through her child

The mother should be ashamed of herself.

Part of me thinks that she should have just taken her off, but then again I think that she is her mother and probably knows better than anyone what her daughter can do and cope with. If she thinks she can cope with the situation then that's why she did what she did.

She needs a good kick up the backside. If I was her I would not have let her take the risk of performing again. She seemed to be encouraging her on rather than comforting her.
