It's heartbreaking what's happened to her, but she shouldn't be allowed a second chance.

I feel sorry for her, but they probably wouldn't have given most others acts a chance.

I have to agree with you rzt, I mentioned in another thread I don't know what stage school some of the kids go to. But all the stage productions I was involved in at her age, you got shouted at for not remembering your lines because it's "unacceptable".

In the X Factor, Diana was given special treatment, why shouldn't Hollie?

Yes she should. I'm voting for her and bet you she goes through with the votes!!1

How exactly was she given special treatment? I don't think she forgot her words, did she?

I have a sneaky feeling she might muck up again...

why vote for her?

she clearly did not enjoy herself and cannot cope with the pressure. it's just cruel.

She shouldn't be given more time. This is a harsh lesson in life.

They probably shouldn't but what the hell.

She's a sweet little 10 year old!

She'll get through anyway so they probably didn't need her to have another chance.

Some people are getting far too wound up by this show. It's just a TV show, she's just a 10 year old girl. If you need to use the smilie then find something less stressful to watch.

They're only giving her a second chance out of decency. It is actually the decent thing to do at this point. No reason to risk giving a child a frigging horrible and potentially traumatising memory for a long time.

No, the mistake they made was letting kids on it in the first place.

I'm not wound up by the show. I'm just saying, that it's pretty clear she's not up to it at the moment .

It's also a potentially traumatising "lesson in life".

FYI: PTSD is the normal response to an abnormal situation. And children get it remarkably easily because their little brains are ill equipped to deal with 'abnormal situations'. They can't store the memories in the appropriate place, like an adult would with a big event like this one.

Your comment is very cruel.

Why shouldn't she be allowed to do her act twice. George Sampson was allowed to do the identical act 3 times.

I didn't mean you. It was directed at others that have lost the capacity for civilised conversation.

Noone else would get a second chance so why should she?

Or she wasn't good enough to sing with it like someone this week did.

She shouldn't be given a second chance.

I strongly suspect that even if Susan Boyle breaks off mid performance to shout and swear at Shaheen's family in the audience, they will still allow her to sing again!

Anyone else would not be given a second chance if they went wrong. Only because she is young and cute is she getting a second chance. And will probably get the last place.

Anyone else going wrong would have been buzzed off the stage. So should she. If you can't deliver your talent, then don't do the show

It's a shambles. She shouldn't have been allowed a second chance and her mum shouldn't have been begging for it either.
Let her do a prerecorded slot on GMTV or something if she has to perform on TV

She lost her voice, that couldn't be helped at all. Hollie just couldn't cope with the pressure.

That said, I thought it was incredibly sad to watch and I really felt for her. But I don't think she should get another chance.
