The crying was so manipulative.

At the start when Simon said he knew who was going through, is there any doubt he was talking about those two?

I think it's not so much emotional blackmail. TV shows have to be very careful coz there's many Ofcom rules and regulations saying how children have to be treated. I think with her getting so upset they would have been in trouble if they hadn't let her sing again and ultimately if they hadn't put her through...

My query is... would they have let an adult have a second chance?

Not a level playing field methinks.

I suppose I'm a bit gullible even believing that it could be.

So you are saying when you were 10 you never cried, i think i would have cried if i forgot my words half way through, we are all human and have done things like that at some stages in our life and especially when we were younger. It must be a lot to take in and something like that was bound to happen one day.

Stop being so nasty.

I agree some people on here have been vile tonight but the whole incident just reinforces what I've said from day one; children shouldn't be allowed in the competition. They're not on the X Factor! It got lowered to 14 but even that they've put back up to 16 for this coming year. It's ridiculous putting 10 year olds under that much pressure on live TV!

One poster said she voted 30 times, more money than sense.
