sorry but this kid bores me

I thought he did great, however, just something about the way he sings that never wows me though. He was about 5 foot away from the wow factor for me.

Oh yeah i agree he can sing i dont dispute that.. but there is nothing else there

He seems a nice lad and can sing without a doubt but I have to agree with the OP. I think the reason I find him nice but dull is the old fashioned, boring songs he sings. He came across tonight as a wedding singer or professional karaoke singer - that's not knocking his vocal ability just his performance and stage presence which lacks something......

maybe that x-factor

He has great potenial.

Needs to practice on his diction and stop being given songs

People forget this. Michael Jackson is an extremely talented singer and Shaheen can sing as well, almost (though hopefully he isn't MJ though).

These songs he is singing are very technically difficult and he is making them sound easy.

He has a very strong voice for his age. He needs to quit singing diva/torch songs. They are too old for him and he cannot give them the interpretation necessary to do them justice. He is a vocally talented young man but, like holly, if you go to a high end stage school, one of a dozen.
