Shaheen was exceptional,she was forgettable.
Last night no one was hating her (except for the odd few who were rightly deleted).
Last night people were making realistic observations about what they heard and saw.
Last night the pressure didn't get to her.
Last night she, encouraged by her mother, pretended to have stage fright to counter allegations in the press that she was becoming bigheaded.
Then she goes on to give an above average performance tonight & everyone is blown away in comparison.
If she had just given a decent performance in the first place last night there would have been no emotional story.
People have been had, but that's OK if they're happy.

I was asking if anyone was disputing the unfair advantage? Who else would have got the chance to go twice if they messed up the first time?
Very very unfair to the other contestants imo.

I'm glad you said that not me, and she wasn't nervous tonight so we should assume that was the very best she can do. She has potential to be very good when she is older but only if she controls the vibrato.

I agree. However I dont see the "tantrum" and "spoilt brat" some people do. There is no reason to take last nights events on anything else but face value.

She did not deserve a second chance. If Susan Boyle had messed up would she have got a second chance? Or if any other the other singers had forgotten thier lines would they have been given a second chance? Three buzzes more like it.

Agree to disagree? She looked just like my 18 month old having a tantrum, imo. Not a tear in sight!
holly sang beautifully tonight. Having said that she should neve have been put through. The second chance was totally unfair on everyone else in the competition. When they originally told her she couldn't sing again she wailed amazingly but with no tears.... that bothered me. She obviously is a talented girl. Let her play young cosette or one of the SOM kids - don't put her out to the world yet.
