Well, in these times of economic hardship I guess no one would pass up the chance of a buy an 'Amanda Holden blow up doll' and get a Susan Boyle one free...guess there is plenty of stock to get rid of!

I can't believe booed Susan! I bet it took her a lot of courage to come back out on the stage, after all the hassle she's got this week and none of the hype has been her fault.

I wish her all the best because her performance gave me goosebumps and had me close to tears.

It was other acts Friends and Families.

Same as Amanda being booed for saying Diversity blew Flawless out the water.

Boos when Simon mentioned her winning, pretty horrid. None of the other acts got booed when their chances were mentioned, although they can't all have been everone's favourite, so I think this is poor form indeed.

They were booing Piers, not Susan!

But they were booing Piers for obviously favouring Susan, not Susan herself!

It's just not necessary, particularly on the final. And of all people, Susan doesn't deserve it. Hate the hype by all means, but it's not her fault.

Exactly - they were booing Piers not Susan

Yes, but it was indirectly aimed at Susan i.e. we don't agree with Piers. Just don't do it.

it's disgusting that people booed her.

she is a very kind and caring woman with heart of gold and the voice of an angel.

susan has to win and if for some strange reason she doesn't Shaheen.

The audience were quite hostile to Susan. They didn't cheer her once during the song when she was hitting the high notes and yet cheered every other one of the nine acts while they were performing.

It seems the art of begrudgery is alive and well.

You're dealing with the bitter, twisted, and thick GBP. It's all fair game.

I don't know where they get some of the audience from. I bet they'd be the kind of people who'd jeer loudly at a public execution.

they obviously don't like a fix, fair play to them..diversity are the only ones who have a chance of beating her

I think they were booing Piers.

Can't say I agree with your middle sentence, none of us know what shes like and she certainly does not have the voice of an angel. Go to the West End you will find lots of singers as good as and better than Susan.

I kind of draw the line at describing the entire population of this country as bitter, twisted and thick when discussing a talent show on the telly.

I think it was the assumption that she would win that caused it.

She was great but I think the dancers and the Sax player were more entertaining.

Booing was very bad form. I hope Susan wins. If not, Diversity!

Oh we have another conspiracy theorist. What's fixed exactly?

She's clearly not going to win. If the the hype machine from the judges tonight was for any act it was for Diversity.

if there was any booing it was probably due to the incredible media hype that boyle has gathered around her, which does tend to give her an advantage which is not justified by her performances.
