Probably on beta blockers.

She was very subdued when being interviewed, looked completely unnatural for her.

Bless her.

I honestly think the bile that's been shot at her from all directions has finally got her. On Sunday she retained her confidence, but the press have just kept on having another pop, another pop, another pop - and everyone has a threshold. I fear Susan has crossed her's and she just cannot take anymore.

I can't say I blame her. As Piers said, all this is not her fault.

I think she had been schooled in how to be and was struggling with remembering how she should be.

There's different levels of sedation depending on what you need it for. She might have only needed a mild sedation to get through a nervous time.

There are different levels of sedation!

I remember once being given something to help with a period of stress I was going through where I had to go through with it and concentrate; running away was not an option. I can't remember what the medication was called but I was definitely able to function properly on the matter in hand.

How on earth do you know that? I'm guessing you don't.

I felt sorry for her, she seemed very down and depressed.

I wish I was on something after watching some of this years 'talent'.

What do you mean 'singing it slower'? She was singing in time to the music....
maybe it was a slightly 'different' track, but she sang along to it fine!

Definitely a strong possibility.

It's not surprising if she was a bit down.... after all the poor woman has been through!

I thought there was something odd about her tonight as well and my first thought was that she had been given something to calm her, but then could she sing as well if she had? and I couldn't really notice any difference with her singing, maybe she is just subdued and a bit down with all the negative press lately.

I think the producers (and probably Simon at their meeting yesterday) will have advised her to come across a bit less wacky. There were signs of hip wiggling Susan, but she seemed to be saying very little to ensure that she kept in line.

Maybe I mean she wasn't powerful enough. She just didn't seem like she was singing it as well as the first time she auditioned. Some of the lyrics she sang very low.

I think it was because we were all so shocked at hearing her sing so well that first time and tonight we already knew she could sing, so the 'surprise' element was no more!

Sedatives don't always have to be given in big quantities. They can be prescribed in the dosage that's required by the patient.

I found Julian Smith and Diversity most entertaining tonight.”

Her eyes always lok like that. She gave quite a god performance tonight but she went back to her party piece song so its impossible to reaaly judge her.

The part somg piece good, The semi song bad. Without hearing another son difficult to judge.

Out of the acts tonight she was not the best. I would put at least three ahead of performance wise

Whether she will get the sympathy vote who knows it might be a bit dilated in any case as there could be a threeway split on that.

Hmmn, nah. I just think that there was parts of the song that just didn't sound the same as they did when she first sang it. Almost as if she jazzed the song up very slightly. It didn't have the same power of her first audition. The Judge's faces showed this when listening to her.
