I think she was under instructions to tone down the wacky behaviour and hip wiggling,that's all.It would be a big mistake for anyone to go on live TV having taken tranquilisers,and there's no reason to believe that is what happened.

The sedated audience didn't help either ; they were determined not to cheer her while she sang.

She had been coached by the singing coach for this performance unlike the first audition, which she just sang without any training from the BGT team. I think she sang very well though and may simply be subdued because of the stress she has had all week.
