Why Shaheen is the only singer who deserves to go through...

Shaheen is the only singer who has actually put the effort in to perfect 3 DIFFERENT performances. I think it's so lazy and pathetic susan and sean just reverted to their original songs because they know they got good comments from them.

Plus Shaheen beat them both hands down vocally.

He's easily the most talented of the singers. Too young to tell of he will make it big but he does have the voice and potential. I assume he'll get the Cowell treatment even without winning.

Heard plenty of boys his age sing and though I don't like that kind of song/voice he's in the top 5.

The boy can sing, but I'd shoot whoever, is choosing his singing material, it's tragically BAD.

He needs some better songs, but we can only judge what he is singing and we don't know how much of it is his choice.

He is immensely talented though.

I think the song fitted him like a glove and that he is an outstanding talent.

I don't see what everyone else is seeing. I find him fairly crap tbh. Cannot understand one word that he sings.

he's a very good singer. Needs a song to suit his age not show off his vocal abilities which may or may not remain once he goes through puberty. He needs to quick bouncing when he sings. What people don't reallise that if you go to a good stage school, there are alot of shaheen's, hollies and aidens. Most have parents who won't put them on these shows at such an age.

he only goes half a day at a weekend, and aidan is self-taught.

He actually seems perfectly normal, apart from having excellent singing and acting ability. Just your average 12 year old intelligent boy and he seems to be popular at school as well.

Of course his voice will change when he goes through puberty and might not be as good, but he will know that and there will be something he can make it as, and he still has plenty of time as a treble to go.

Sorry I'm not being provocative, but his voice reminded me of a cat yowling.

I know I'm tone deaf, but I'm afraid his song choice/voice really grated.

He has a rich tone for a young boy which is rather an acquired taste. I guess his size (squarer is better for singers) helps.

A lovely young lad, but I couldn't understand a word he sang.

I don't know the song and could hear all his words, though they could have been better.

Hmmm, me and my family were covering our ears at his song in the semis. Screeech!!!!

He was slightly better tonight, but I think his choice of songs is poor.

OK, so 12 year old boy in high voice shocker.

Most boys that age who try and sing that powerfully sound like, well, ugh.

There was almost no 'light and shade' - he just belted it out in this annoying screech of a voice. Nothing to do with his voice not having broken. He could have toned it down and kept it pleasant. Hollie on the other hand also has a high voice but somehow manages not to screech.

No way, she kept the top level at a perfect smooth pitch. His voice grates, hers doesn't.
