It was judges favouritism that they were booing not her. She is good but I think the dance acts are much more exciting to watch.

Nonsense, if so they'd have booed when they commented on Diversity.

You know, I havent been on here for a very long time and thought that I would look and see what the opinions were of everyone on tonights show. I think it was a fantastic show and I laughed and laughed at Stavros Flatteryly (sorry if thats the wrong spelling), I thought Julian Smith was wonderful and has such a wonderful humility about him, Diversity were fantastic and so original, Shaheen was exceptional, didnt think Aiden did as well tonight as the semi's to be honest.....Susan Boyle has a remarkable voice, whatever your feelings are about the woman whether you want her to win or not, she has a naturally beautiful voice. I dont care if you dont agree with me but what I do care about is the hate and spitefulness prevelent in this country for people who doing well for themselves in some shape or form. At the beginning the poor woman was being praised and saluted everywhere, and a few weeks later we get nasty snidey comments about how she cannot sing and her temperament and tantrums. Poor woman is not the sharpest pencil in the box but she deserves a chance in life and she has a gift that may enable her to do just that. I hope she does go to America, at least out there for all their sins they dont take a nasty turn towards someone who is moving forward and upward in their life.

Now why would that be? Ah that's right, because you read it in a newspaper. How silly of me. Newspapers always report facts and don't like to tell stories that don't sell more copies. And we, the general public, are obviously not as clever or discerning as yourself because if we vote for someone we like we're patronising.

Do you know, YOU are actually the sort of person who is making our country a nasty place in which to live. This is a talent contest you sad person. It's for amateurs not professionals.
Try being pleasant for a change and you may notice more people actually might like you rather than tolerate you.”

is it me? or do the susan boyle appreciators come across as being a little narky?

Couldn't agree more...

Some members of the public are awful. But I think when the audience joined in with Hollie last night when she was singing, it showed we can be human and supportive as well.

I'm not disgusting but I don't want Susan to win. I just don't think she is the most talented out of the incredible talents we have in the final.

It's the hype that has them conned.

But we're lucky that you see through that.

I felt ashamed when the audience booed Susan (or were they booing Piers?)
Just sad

Can i just clear up.... if you just think someone else is the final is a BETTER performer than Susan that is fine. I am all for healthy debate, personal opinions.

My problem is people that have turned on susan because of the hype, because of the press. She has asked for none of it, her subdued nature tonight proves she just wants to sing. I think people who have just turned against her for no real reason are disgusting.

NOT PEOPLE WHO JUST WANT SOMEONE ELSE TO WIN.

I wasnt being horrible to the most of you !!!!

But that doesn't matter because it happened to the divine Ms B. Certainly making something out of nothing. Had they been booing SB then their may be a point, but it was Piers that caused the boos by his OTT sycophancy.

They are like sheep, being led astray by certain elements in the gutter press.
They should be ashamed of themselves.

Jimbob dont apologise because you are right and to stand out and say it doesnt mean that you have to worry about what other people think of you.

in my opinion she's a barely-adequate ballad singer who has been very over-hyped, and there were many acts in this show who were more ENTERTAINING.

I'm narky for sure. Not sure if it's the dental abscess I'm nursing or a week of vitriol directed towards a harmless old woman.

What I do know is that for a few minutes tonight, Susan lifted me out of my prescription painkiller-induced fugue. Sadly, she looked worse at the end of it than I'm feeling. And I'm feeling like shit.

What a simplsitic analysis. Show us the reams of pages and coment from tabloids this week that made Diversity's life a misery.

The boos for Boyle were part of an anti-campaign that idiots have bought into. In the final analysis you have an ordinary woman, very likely with learning difficulties, thrust into an unprecedented limelight she has had no control over.

It's the 21st century version of the Christians being fed to the lions, and to see people revel in it is disgusting. It shows those idiots slagging the woman off as contemptible sheep.

Thanks hun, i think i was being a bit flippant.

I know where you're coming from though, i want Diversity to win because i think they're the most talented not so that SB doesn't win.
I don't think any of the acts would like win because people have voted just to spite someone else.
