I wasn't keen on him. I didn't think his act was anything spectacular. And as for him being 'cool', I don't get that either. He seemed nice enough, but almost like an absolute charisma vacuum to me.

I was surprised he got to the final three. I liked him but expected Stavros to make up the package. I liked Julian in the way that I can appreciate anyone who can play their instrument well. I liked Sue Son's violin too. But I don't know whether it was exceptional because I have never listened to a solo sax before (if you don't count Baker Street!) I don't feel I am qualified to say whether or not it was a good performance. For all I know people like Julian could be ten a penny.
