I loved Diversity, Flawless, Shaheen (sp?) and Julian. I was torn on who to vote for, so have given my single vote to Julian. It was different to the other acts and he played beautifully.

The people I chat to on another forum are in agreement that we could sit in a bar by the beach on holibobs and listen to Julian all night.

Therefore we are now hoping he won't win so he'll be coming to a beach bar near us

I can't see him winning to be honest. He's a nice guy with a good talent but he doesn't have the 'wow' factor.

As a classical musician myself, I can spot talent when I see it and Julian is VERY, VERY, TALENTED. Even if he doesn't win, I'm sure he's got a very bright future ahead of him. He's a really nice, down-to-earth bloke and deserves to do well.

Yes, but why hasn't he made it up to now? Something is missing, either in his playing (which is good) or in his attitude. He's no youngster and he's been playing professionally for years.

He's a professional with an exisiting contract. Forget all the guff about his 'last chance'.

Must be thousands of non-professional musicians out there that are as good if not better than him, don't see why he's so special myself.

I did some work for a musician once, who has a bio that sounds better than that; some very well known bands he has worked with and his bio makes him sound celeb-esque and while a pro, is just a normal guy trying to make money from what he loves.

I dont see how Julian is any different from that.

He's a good musician, but nothing exceptional. In Brazil Caio Mesquita was much more of a find. Check him out on youtube.
