Didnt like shaun from the start not a great voice at all.

Shaun was ok, but I agree 2 Grand were pretty poor, especially when they messed up at the beginning. I would have much rather seen the drummer kid too!

The only reason Sallie didn't come higher, was likely due to that she was singing with someone who's had his day with his singing. No disrespect to her Grandad, but he's holding her back though.
Shaun has the looks and whilst his voice ain't the greatest, it's O.K. but.... as someone else has pointed out, he looks as if he's in agony when singing. He doubles right over with his face screwed up and it's very, very offputting.
If he can get out of that habit he may do O.K.
As for 2Grand, my inpression was that poor wee Sally - was much as she loves her Grandfather - was extremely embarrassed by him/the whole palaver. I could be very wrong, but look at the videos and he's doing the talking, she's staying quiet and avoiding eye contact.

Well heres an unpopular opinion from me, I think Shaun's a brilliant singer. 2Grand were never going to win but they're just so cute together.

He sounds more like a real singer rather than a karaoke singer, which for a young lad is amazing.
I think Shaun was quite unlucky in his scheduling tonight. Right between Stavros Flatley and Susan Boyle doesn't make you that memorable. His voice is quite good, but I don't think he would have made the Top 12 in X Factor. He will still get some kind of deal from Simon.
I really liked 2 Grand tonight, despite John missing his first line! A nice harmless act, just 2 people having a good time. I'm glad Sally didn't burst into tears when Simon said they wouldn't win, they were very gracious and I think they did very well getting this far.
Every act tonight will do well in some way, some of course better than others. Susan, Shaheen and Shaun will undoubtedly be signed up by Simon. Perhaps Julian and Hollie as well. 2 Grand will get a much higher profile, perhaps do some local events around Yorkshire. Diversity of course will have Royal Variety, Flawless and Stavros will have events. Everyone wins, and I think it was the best result, taking everything into account for everyone.
