It wasn't as good as previous performances but considering the amount of time he had to put the routine together and that was only his 4th time going through it i thought it was still very good

I don't think the camera work did him any favours. From what I can remember, it was mostly a still-ish camera on him, which was boring to watch. We needed a few more swooping shots over the audience.

feel free to give us a link to a youtube video of you dancing.

I felt he was quite repetitive only because they made him dance on that stupid thing. It's not like he could practice that at home and he was only on it 3 times before the show. It's so stupid to try to make the show ~bigger and better~ at the expense of the performers. He should have done what felt natural and normal for him. That was just completely unfair and for Simon to have a go at him was just the cherry on the cake

I felt for Aidan tonight. He went in as one of the favourites to win (second favourite I think?) and in the end he didn't manage to wow the judges or in all probability the viewers. The kid looked gutted after recieving the judge's comments and probably still is.

I liked him last night but his routine tonight was poor, it was basically the same thing as last night, right down to the mirror effect, which was cool last night but looks lame the second time round and especially when done two nights in a row.

I suspect that Simon may not have wanted him to win since a very similar act won last year. Hence the early slot and less than enthusiastic comments from Simon. I think it's fair that a child act be given constructive criticism, but there have been other worse child acts this series that have been praised to the heavens by the judges. So there is an inconsistency here.

he had little time to come up with a new routine simple as. He even said so completely understandable.

Yeah so he wasn't as good as last night. So what.

Aidan probably already got over it, he's a bright boy, just emotion got to him when he'd finished. He looked shattered, and being tired never helps in this kind of situation.

He might be good, and he might show a remarkable amount of self-confidence and desire to win, but he is still a boy of 12 and you can't expect kids not to react.

Simon was right and when he calms down Aidan will realise he was right. Showbiz and performing are tough and he will need to get over it to make it, and if he wants to do it, he will, he is that kind of character.

Just the feeling of putting everything into doing your best and realising it isn't quite good enough...

Does anyone know - is Simon radge with George Sampson about something (being too cocky now maybe)? Cos he implied in Aiden's audition that Aiden was much better than George.. but the two dancers are so clearly worlds apart in terms of moves and talent. I've compared their vids on youtube and while Aiden just repeats the same moves over and over, George pulls off some pretty stunning acrobatics.
