How will the winner be announced?

If the show is 30 mins long, how will the time be filled and how will the winner be announced?

They'll fill time with adverts, VT's about the show so far and chats with the judges and contestants. Plus recaps to get viewers to vote.

Then they'll take them all on stage and select the top 3. Then a winner.

(At least that's what happened last year).

I hope we get a top 3 and then the winner from them. We'll at least know who did well with the public.

They'll be giving us the full raw voting percentages in the next few days, and for all the semi-finals too, so we can pour over them all we want.

The winning act will be exploded out of a canon.

They should have a voting system like the Eurovision. Each region of the UK reading out their results!

Usually by Ant or Dec flexing their vocal cords and moving thier mouth, in to a microphone after being told the winner, by the producer, in the earpiece. If brain and mouth are in sync, what they hear will be what they speak...

Won't they just announce it by going:
"....and the winner of BGT 2009 is... <enormously long pause> Susan!"?
