cantos

It is lucky Susan Boyle didn't win as she would have failed the drug test.

What have they given her?

Arrange the words "life", "get" and "a" to make a meaningful sentence.

I would be very confident on betting that she was sedated. She just wasn't herself tonight. When her name was called, she never looked, or, waved to the camera. To say she wasn't sedated is a bit unbelievable really.

And which university did you get your medical degree from? Honestly, people on here are absolutely unbelievable.

She looked zonked, but nerves could account for that.

Yeah, the mentally ill don't deserve to enter talent contests

I do actually think she had taken something to control her nerves - and why not? I would if 15 million people were watching.

Cantos...your thread title is absolutely uncaring and disgusting...

what goes round comes around ..

Be warned, I hope one day you will never have that experience, for whatever reason..

I feel sorry for you & worry what life may bring you....you are to be pitied...

I thought she behaved a bit oddly as well.

Oh, come on. You don't need a flaming medical degree to see that she had taken something to steady her nerves. And by the way, can you stop with the 'people on here are absolutely unbelievable' comment. I've not critisized her, but just said that she looked like she was sedated.

So would I be disturbed, to have gone through what she has in a few short weeks.

From anonymity to global fame and almost hysterical levels of press.

And then almost overnight, dropped from a great height.

She didn't look drugged. She looked pale, ill and beaten down by it all. I hope she finds some peace.

If she did take something, it was counter-productive - she looked like a nervous wreck.

I don't think its unusual for people with some degrees of learning difficulties to be on medication.

However I think tonight was more down to a determined effort to try and not act oddly and there were times when I think Susan was following a script. However there were also times when she was more herself and effectively said bugger what people think and I applaud her for that.

The British public hate to be embarrassed by odd behaviour or children acting up and there is a lesson here for us to just bloody well get over ourselves.

Susan is what Susan is and , regardles of her difficluties she comes across as a nice person with a talent. If BGT has done nothing else its issued the wake up call that anybody, no matter how odd can add soem value to peoples lives.
