Im quite happy that Diversity won, but i think starvos should have been in the top 3, i'm sure i read somewhere on the forum,that julian already had/has a contract under another name (correct me if am wrong).Stavros didn't have a sob story? Do we brits like a sob story ?

They seem like nice guys but - and bearing in mind that tonight was the first episode of BGT I have EVER watched - I thought they were absolutely terrible! A p*ss-take of Riverdance - French and Saunders did that years ago, and didn't someone do it on that celebrity comic relief dancing show thing too?!

Aye but look at all the acts tonight, not much variety ? singers, dancers ,musician ,thats it.They brought the humour .

Good, but not good enough to win. I had them third tonight, behind Julian and Susan.

Piers announced Freddie Flintoff had texted him wanting to book them for one of his parties.
I think they, along with faces of disco will have a successful career in things like corporate events, holiday camp cabarets, panto etc

They were a joke act and clearly majority of the public thought so too and were not influenced by the hype. I thought their initial performance was good but the semi and final were lacking, there's only so much they could do. Julian has something, he can perform, release a CD, i want to see more from him.

I didn't see the big deal from the first time we saw them to be honest.

Yes ok it was pretty funny, but once you've seen it, you've seen it, and it soon gets old.

And i may be alone, but i don't really want to see a fat man and his fat kid running and jumping all over the place half naked.

Not at all, aside from Diversity winning them not being in the top 3 was the most pleasing things to see the public vote more on talent than a one trick gimmick.

I'm glad they didn't win. I just don't find them funny.

yeah but isn't a bit of a myth that BGT is supposed to be about variety anyway?
i know the prize is a performance in the royal variety show, but surely that's got enough variety to mean that one extra singing/dancing act doesn't change it too much....
it's britain's got talent, therefore the most talented act should win whether they're a singer/dancer/musician or variety
so that said, stavros had the least talent out of the finalists tonight, although they were entertaining and seemed genuinely nice guys with no delusions of grandeur. and it's not their fault that the public voted them into the final so i don't begrudge them a good night out

The Dad is a right laugh, watching him over on BGMT and he won't let anyone take the ferrero rocher. Lol! But seriously, their act was very entertaining and i prefer to see them at parties rather than the RV show!

They are a bit of light hearted fun but there is not much real talent there I am sure they will get quite a bit of work for a while from there act

I just think they were down to earth, ok son is overweight and needs to lose that,but hey half the kids in britain look like that ,at least he isnt sitting on his arse on the x box.

Stavros and son have no talent therefore it is very fitting that they didn't place in the top three. It's bad enough they were in the final.

They were a bit of fun but you cannot compare their act to most of the other talented finalists.
