Forget comparisons, nervous children and the hype surrounding Susan Boyle. Why can't we all give every single one of this years BGT finalists one big 'Wahey!' for proving that Britain does still have good points? Britain doesn't only have talent but spirit, determination, hard-working good people.
And Diversity represent this best. A group of friends that look out for each other, appear thoroughly nice and prove that us young people aren't lying out on street corners getting drunk every night and smashing bus shelters up. We as a nation have some of the best creatives in the world; fashion designers, artists, singers and of course dancers. We should celebrate our successes in these areas and be proud to be putting Diversity in front of the world- their performances should make us proud to be British.
So, put aside the reality show trappings for a second, and just think: okay, perhaps your favourite act didn't win, but, surely, there are only good things to say about Diversity.
