Didn't George Sampson use the same dance ??

With Aiden only having this afternoon to practice his NEW routine for tonight , I feel sure that last year;s winner George Sampson danced the same dance for the semi and the final .

Am I correct in thinking this ?

If so it seems as though Aiden was badly advised to try something BRAND NEW !!

I read they were told that, unlike last year, the final performance had to be different from the semi final this year.

Seems ridiculous for him to only have a couple of hours to create and rehearse it 4 times.

and yet they were allowed to do their audition peice? seems strange....
to be fair, aiden should really have had something planned for in case he got through [and for all we know, he might have done]. he would've known he would only have 24 hours if he did make it so would presumably have planned ahead?

George repeat the semi-final routine last year because his remix for the final wasn't ready on time. He was planning to change the act.

I think the producer's then asked all the other acts in the final to revert back to a semi-final/audition routine so George wouldn't stand out - I think this because Faryl said she was going to do Amazing Grace in the final after qualifying, but sung Ave Maria on the night.

come off it, the auditions were 3 months ago at least, surely it would give him and the other contestants ample time to work out 2 routines/songs whatever just in case they needed them, what i did not like about tonight is most of them went back to singing the songs that got them through the auditions, surely they could have come up with better than that

Some of them just had a short clip of their audition shown, so this allows us to see the full performance for the first time. At least I think that's the reason behind it.

Apparently Simon said to George to stick with Singin' In The Rain... I'm sure that's what he said in an interview, anyway.
