The fact that a talent like Susan Boyle came second place really speaks volumes over the level of talent that was on the show this year. Just a shame that there wasn't a bit more variety.

Loved it. BGT had more variety last year, but every single act this year could have done the RV and been good.

And More Talent has made me laugh so much. Stevieeee!

Stephen Mulhern massively surprised me. I can't remember if he was like this in previous years but I LOVED him this year. His deadpan interviews with the crap auditionees were fantastic, i.e. "right."

I thought the semi-final week was underwhelming in places, but the final was superb - couldn't ask for more. And the series has been really intriguing too.

I thought it bit massive ass until Diversity came on and rocked the house down.

Ya-ha - what a series it's been. Drama. Shocks. Tears. Tantrums. Disappointments. Upsets. Surprises. And the best final we've ever had, with the most unexpected result in reality TV history.

What more can you honestly ask for?

Fantastic. I didn't think the semi finals were up to much but the final was superb. Excellent winners, massive shocks and Steven Mullhern has been bloody fantastic.

I think we need to start a Steven Mulhern appreciation thread if there isn't one already! Everything just worked this series.

Totally agree. Can't remember being this hooked the last 2 years.

Totally amazed that Diversity won, brilliant result. Thought everybody was brilliant tonight though, wish Stavros Flatley had been in the top 3.

Loved, loved, loved it. Some semi-finals very weak but tonight was incredibly strong.

Oh and yes, Steven Mulhern has been fantastic too. As have Ant and Dec of course, just like every year.

Semi-finals weren't great but easily the best final ever.

If you voted for them a few hundred thousand times things would have been different you only have yourself to blame.

The auditions and the final were great, but the semis were pretty dire at times

I really hope it rates well. BGT is intrinsically superior to any other show of its kind. I cant see how TXF and SCD can possibly trump that.
