Susan looked relieved not to win

I hope for her sake this is the case.

She was shaking so much that it made me wonder is she likes all the hype, and the overblown nature of it all ... nice for a day or two, but a hard way to live a life.

So maybe 15 minutes of fame, then, hopefully for her, a steady income but not so much celeb attention, might well be the best thing.

Personally I think the best act won, so I am happy, but I am also pleased that Susan seemed relieved at the outcome too.

I thought she looked like she was going to be sick. I too feel it's probably better she came 2nd. The pressure taken back off her.

I hope she goes ahead and records an album. Her talent is her voice nothing else matters.

I think it's probably the best result for Susan. She can have a successful career now without the 'winner' tag and all the baggage and pressure it brings.

I'm not surprised. If she had won, the pitchfork wielders would have stormed the studio and carried her off to the ducking stool where Lily Allen and Craig Revel Horwood were ready and waiting.

Lily Allen. Hmm. Is there anybody she hasn't slagged off?

Oh yes. Someone who will be discovered next week she hasn't yet heard of.

Silly little girl needs to grow up. And as for Revel Horwood. I won't even bother.

It was lovely to hear her speak so highly of Diversity, Very Gracious

When she said "Lads, i wish you all the best" i believe she was 100% genuine and believes they deserved to win.

I thought that too. She looked terrified all the way through until they announced the winner and then she just looked relieved.
aww.

lol great post!
i was at first angry she didn't win but looking back i think like others have said it was best for her to come second without the pressure and expectations of being the winner. and diversity were good in fact so were aiden and flawless and shaun smith and shaheen there was loads to chose from good show this year.

Absolutely agree. She looked so relieved, the first time she relaxed during the whole night.

He hasn't got a leg to stand on - the YT videos of him singing on It Takes Two are cringe worthy. What he said about Susan, like her or not, was needlessly personal and insulting.

I thought Susan was very gracious and charming and didn't seem at all bitter and act the sore loser when she congratulated Diversity.
I wish her all the very best of luck with her new career in showbiz.
