It is possible as I work for an ISP/Telco and we do conversions from talk talk (full llu) to normal bt wlr quite often. It is not a straight forward process and there are charges for the number port and conversion. Usually quicker and simpler (but not cheaper) to put a new line with new number in.

Thanks for the info, I dont really want to change my phone number,I think I will stay with Tiscali for now but if they change their broadband and phone bundles to the same as TalkTalk I'll move to another ISP.Not so sure about going to sky now, if the credit crunch starts hitting hard and you cant afford sky tv you end up losing your phone and broadband as well.

I been told the Post Office do a good deal on home phone and broadband. Have you looked at them.

If the Post Office had been doing phone and broadband over 3 years ago I may have gone with them and not BT.

Quite good offers there, the £24.99 one is like what I get at Tiscali but I get Anytime calls as well for £19.59 at present but that could all change now TalkTalk has taken over.

Remember also that the PO include mobile calls at weekends in that deal. No-one else is offering that at the moment.
