The second single is "On And On" which will be released in September or October. Then the album will be released in October with 3 additional tracks.

I agree, after the brilliance of 'Release Me', the album seems like quite a let down.

I didn’t even know Agnes had an album out, I was in HMV on Wednesday and it just caught my eye and I was kind of unsure if I should buy it or not cause it ended up costing me £19. But the album surprised me I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was, and I wasn’t expecting most of the album to some up my love life at the moment, but I personally don’t think there is one bad song on this album, but Big Blue wall is my current favourite.

I know it's gonna flop, but it was released officially in the UK this week. Anyone else get it?

Wow this is an old thread
![]() I think Agnes has been screwed over by her label. Release Me was deservedly a big-selling hit over here, but then they waited a ridiculous 5 months until releasing the next single, which happened to be nowhere near as good. Then they waited SIX months until the next single, which was a decent song, but by then people had forgotten about her and she wasn't being playlisted. And now it's the worst possible time for her album to be released. They should of released the album straight after Release Me entered the charts, or at least release a strong second single soon after, followed by the album. As it is now she's completely faded into the background. The handling of her releases here in the uk has been diabolical. I guess that's the trouble with being a talent show winner - the label makes all the decisions. |

I wish she was doing better than she is. It doesn't seem like her label is promoting her enough.

I got the album last week after a random browse in HMV in Newcastle as I didn't realise it had even been released yet (ironic considering the title of the debut single!). Anyway, promo issues aside, what an absolute stonker of an album - I love it, just the style of music I love listening to - apart from Release Me, my favourite is I Need You Now. Have been listening to it constantly all week. Pity hardly anyone will actually buy it or hear it. I posted some of her vids on my Facebook to try and muster some support but not much reaction.

I downloaded this album nearly a year ago cos I was frustrated that they kept pushing the physical release back! It still hasn't been released yet though, has it?
The management have definitely screwed up. It should have been released around last September with a better second single like Love Me Senseless, there's no hope for Agnes now unless she comes out with something new and brilliant.I do really like this album though! Love Me Senseless, On & On, Open Up Your Eyes and You Rain are all great songs. |
