I thought she was supposed to be the biggest new artist of 2009, ahead of Lady GaGa even? Why has New In Town failed to reach the top ten then?!? To be honest I think it's really good and worthy of No.1. Will it go up the charts?

I reckon it'll be quite high up on next weekend's chart

Must say, I'm quite surprised to hear it's only made the dizzy heights of 13th!

It's a quality tune!

Massive fail from an overhyped, zero stage presence chancer!!

I've had the misfortune of seeing her live at festivals three times and she's been rubbish!

I went to buy the CD single and it's only got one track on it! Utterly pointless.

Stupid record companies, couldn't find their arses with two hands, an assistant and GPS.

I think she should of released Meddle, or something else with more character. I do love her though, really hope it rises next week.

She must have got her hopes up when she won, thinking she was on the up. Then BAM no. 13

At least her album is a belter..

All tracks uploaded to her myspace (as with Kasabian)
http://www.myspace.com/littlebootsmusic

no.13 is dissapointing for her im sure, she has a much better 2nd single in 'Remedy' which MUST be a top 5 hit.

She picked the wrong song.

Mathematics is genius! sadly I don't see any number 1 singles on this album though. I'm a bit underwhelmed to be honest.

No chance, it's downhill all the way for that single.

Does anyone over the age of about 12 actually buy singles or care about the singles charts any more?

Not really, but the media builds people up if they have a few hits, so helps the singers hit the big time

Another artist that radio 1 and Jo Whiley in particular tell everyone will be the next big thing and people beleive it all only for the artist to fail to deliver.

She is over rated, hasnt done anything and will hardly set the music world alight.

I've heard it a few times now and think it's fairly average. Infact the chorus reminds me of an old 5ive song ("Slam Dunk Da Funk" perhaps?).

She seems like a nice lass though, so best of luck to her.

That's your own stupid fault for actually "buying" music

Actually Jo Wiley is more into La Roux and N-Dubz than Little Boots.

People on here shouldnt judge an artist on 1 song.

Sorry but the singles charts ain't what I would say makes a artist successful anymore, this chart should have died along time ago, as far as I'm concerened it's albums that are important.

I'm much older than 12, and yes I still buy singles, where I can. I can't say I care about the singles chart, it's 90% crap ("get off my lawn", etc.)

That's your own stupid fault for actually "buying" music
What should I be doing instead?
