I hope somebody can help me with this.
With the above TV when i watch anything on DVD or from the digital recorder, in the top left hand corner it is showing the source (a white symbol) permanently.
It used to just flash up for a few seconds.
Is there some setting that does this as it is slightly annoying!

Press the 'i+' button on the remote control, you've already pressed it and turned the on-screem ident permanently ON. You may need to press it twice, on some models the first press switches a clock on in the bottom right corner.

There is no mention of this in the manual, you think Sony would put this in there.

It's in the manual, but unless you already know about it you don't have a chance of finding it.

The manuals are absolutely CRAP! though.
