We live near the Isle of white or Ariel is digital been set up buy an expert. Yet every time we turn this TV on

We get the above message how do we stop it or is it forever we had this with a free view box from asda about 3 months ago someone said oh you need a digital aerial so we got the best one we could afford with advice from the firm that installed it.

This message has only started coming up in the last four days

Are digital aerials a rip of to be honest reception no better than the analogue one.

We originally had a problem where we could not get a few of the channels on our old TV and free view box this was sorted by disconnecting the video recorder. we Bought the new panasonic its been OK since about four days ago and now this dam message keeps coming up every time we turn it on.

Just press ok on the remote all its doing is searching for a new freeview channel, all it will take is a few minutes and then you will have a new freeview channel.and no more on screen mesages until a new channel becomes available.

On the Panasonic remote press...
"Menu", "Setup", "Tuning Menu", "New Service Message"...and switch it to "Off"
Most Panasonic equipment with Freeview built in use this setup.
All it means is if any new channels are added to the Freeview lineup you'll have to add them manually by rescanning instead of the set automatically notifying you with this message.

Well, you're doing something wrong because it is there.
Read page 23 of your user manual.
Make sure the TV is set to TV and not on an AV input before pressing menu.
