Lol, that sounds like more cobblers. Martha is engaged already anyway, so hardly likely to marrying Micky Smith!

Spoiler
eta: this is presumbley based on the shot of Donna in a wedding dress at a church from some time back.

Aw, I really hope there is a Martha/Mickey wedding scene now.

Hooray, I did it!

Confession time. I was the person who made up the story about them shooting a scene in which it's revealed that 10.5 and Rose are married just to see how long it would take to appear in a Tabloid. (Sorry to anyone who believed it, unless you're a "journalist" in which case CHECK YOUR ****ING FACTS FIRST!)

Seriously?
Go on, how did you manage it then?

Sadly it was very, very easy.

Basically I was so fed up with every story that appears in The Sun or The Mirror being treated as if it might be true (despite most of their past ones being false and the few true ones just being taken off the Internet) that I wanted to test how easy it was to get them to print something made-up.

I sent an e-mail to a DW Blog, where they put up my information while quite correctly pointing out that it was probably complete rubbish. Started a few threads on some message boards linking to the story (while pointing out that it probably wasn't true) and waited.

Mickey and Martha - you couldn't make it up! (well you can!)
How long did it take for them to pick it up?

A month. Possibly might have been quicker if it hadn't been for Piper's real return to the show.

I do find a slight twinge of racism in the idea that Martha and Mickey (who've spent about 5 minutes in each other's company) would be getting married when we know she's engaged to (the white) Tom Milligan.

And anyone who thinks Sarah-Jane's Fiance isn't going to turn out to be a Slitheen or the Trickster or something similar should be ashamed of themselves.

Further proof that a prerequisite for DS is a low IQ

More that DS shamefully rip off any tabloid, or forum post about news on many things.

Wow, that's some serious praise. Charlie Brooker is pretty amazing

Haha, this was awesome. Nice job. I remember someone totally making up a story about an actor starring in Doctor Who, and actually getting paid for it.

Well done, though. You really showed DS up.

It would certainly be a departure for RTD. With the exception of Martha's divorced parents, every relationship involving a black person on new Who has been with a white person.

A Multi-Cultural Agenda. Disgraceful.

(Though neither Mickey or Martha were created to specifically be "black" characters.)
