Where do I go from here?
I have a Samsung 37" LCD TV, Panny BD35 Bluray and Sky HD.
I am thinking of adding some sort of home theatre sound system, but I am a total noob at this and would not know where to start! What is the best budget - mid-range system that will work with the Panny BD35 Bluray and my Sky HD to offer me some sorrund sound? |

Sony IS100 would be a good choice imo

The entry model systems below will give you HD audio from your Bluray player and DD5.1 from Sky HD when available.
System1: Sony SRTDG820 @ £299 Tannoy SFX5.1 speaker package @ £150 System2: Onkyo TXSR507 @ £350 OnkyoSKSHT518 speaker package @ £170 System3: Onkyo HTX22HD @ £250 Centre and rear speakers to go with the HTX22HD £99 You can of course mix the speakers packages up from Tannoy/Onkyo with any of the receivers from Onkyo/Sony. The Onkyo HTX22HD does not require an av receiver as all the hardware is built into the sub. |
