I agree.

Doctors have said she has no mental health issues.

Her brother has said she doesn`t have learning difficulties, and doesn`t know where that story came from.

And as we all know, Sycos` PR love their sob stories, and it looks as though this is one that has been blown up out of all proportion and, come back and bit them on the bum!!!

If this is true, and I lean more to this way of thinking too. Imagine how she's going to feel when she gets out of there finding out that they've pulled her apart like this. It's despicable.

We`ve seen their PR in action before, both on BGT and the X.Factor, and I agree with you, it is despicable, but that`s never ever stopped them...

But I think she`ll probably get her singing career on the back of it all, as everyone will be following her "journey"...

Gerry, Joe and John, the three brothers who have crawled out of the woodwork since the auditions are not singing from the same hymnsheet as far as Susan is concerned.

Up until then, her sometimes aggressive and strange behaviour were an embarassment to them and they had as little to do with her as they could decently get away with.

Now they're all arguing over how she should be 'handled' and how she can make the most money as quickly as possible - obviously because they know she'll never have the mental strength to have a long term career in the public eye.

They're all desperate to call themselves her 'manager' so they can leech off her expected millions - but don't forget, not one of them was prepared to accompany her to the audition because they wouldn't have wanted to be seen with her.

we should all be as much ashamed of ourselves. we put her there. we are to blame we are the voyeurs, the saddos, the sickos for watching, knowing waiting then ´jeering´and having fun at her meltdwon. At least let her make some money then go back to what she is comfortable with. shame on us all.”

Speak for yourself

If you think that recognising someone who put themselves forward for a talent show actually has talent is something to be ashamed of then maybe you aren't firing on all cylinders...

She seems to have managed to get through life up to the point of the show perfectly well, so just maybe she doesn't need that sort of patronising crap!

Susan Boyle is a talented lady, there is no dispute there. When she opened her mouth and started singing, she blew absolutely everybody away with the strength and quality of her voice.

Even her 'looks' grow on you and you see her as more and more normal looking each time you see her picture or video.

She has truly surpised many, many, good, wise people but the thing that really surprised me was that she is unable to lean!?

I must admit, I have never personally seen her leaning!

Could someone please, please, please provide a YouTube clip so that we can all be put out of our collective misery.

Personally, I believe it is just some more media hype.

We will be informed in just a few short days that she has had special therapy and her leaning abilities are now well and truly restored.

Bless her, I'm sure she can cope perfectly well in life without leaning. I'm sure there are many people I've never seen leaning!! Has anyone seen Barack Obama lean???

Proves my point!

that could be relevant, as cerebral palsy is linked with a higher incidence of psychiatric and emotional disorders, and negativistic behaviour that can manifest as aggression in some cases. (I am quoting this from a psychiatry textbook).”

Cerebral Palsy implies a permanent physical disability, Learning Disability implies a permanent limitation in mental capacity... both are caused by a brain injury or defect, but in different parts of the brain. Although brain damage caused by oxygen starvation at birth (birth asphyxia) is more commonly associated with cerebral palsy, it can also cause learning disability, although it is fairly unusual to have no physical symptoms at all. I haven't really followed Susan Boyle's progress until the last few days but I'm wondering, has anyone seen any signs of any kind of physical disability in her (which could include speech) however mild?

But of course, if she does have a learning disability, which seems likely from what we've read, we do not know if the cause is known for sure or if people are guessing that birth asphyxia caused it. Nearly 50 years ago, much less was known about the causes of such disabilities and a diagnosis, if made at all, may not be reliable. Other common causes of learning disability which could in theory apply to Susan are: problems during pregnancy well before birth (hard to diagnose even today), and genetic factors.

Susan's behaviour reminds me of my Godson's and he his mildly autistic . Although he's quite an intelligent child, he isn't capable of learing at the same speed as children who don't have problems and he will also throw a 'wobbly' if things don't turn out just the way he wants them too, in other words, his behaviour can be unpredictable too.

There are many types of behaviorial problems, I don't think even the experts can always diagnose the causes of all of them and the extent of the problems that might manifest themselves because of them. Susan's difficulties appear on the surface to be quite mild compred to some.

By the way is anyone else sick of Brother Gerry coming out of the woodwork & popping up all over the media? Is he SB's official spokesman now?”

He's like the new Mitch Winehouse.
