It has been leaked for a while now, a couple of Jap mags covered it - only everyone referred to is as FF11-2. The name and footage is new. I notice they omitted "online" when first announcing it

There is an interesting interview with Aaron Greenberg about this, he seems unable to comment on whether the 360 will be getting the game but implies that as its coming to the PC as well as the PS3 its not a PS3 exclusive.

They will not have decided one way or another on 360 - as I said sales of FF11 on 360 were awful. If it takes off on PS3 in the west (doubtful) they will look to porting it.

so is anyone else kind of curious about the 2.0 update? after it failing quite hard and with a lot of critisism of their most recent final fantasy games i'm a little skeptical but i'd like them to turn their fortune around and for this to be made into a better game.
