as you know, alot of songs today are covers from past songs, some of which are good, and others not so...

which songs do you think should never have been covered due to them ebing such classic tracks. one that instantly comes to mind is happy xmas (war is over).

Was everything a cover should be in my opinion, totally different from the original and a neat pisstake on the pomposity of it.
And I speak as a huge U2 fan.


Biggest cover version tragedy of all time and thankfully I can't remember who did it, was some berk who tried to to do a dance cover version of Baker Street about 10 years ago, for which he should have had his face set on fire and put out with a shovel.
An absolute tragedy.
