Anyone know where in Uk i can get Biltong?

I used to be able to but it in Packets ( like crisps) in pubs in the south of England, various flavours.

Im back in Scotland now.

Any ideas, shops etc?

Thanks.

Is it the same as "Beef Jerky"? - you can get it in most off licences.

Ocado have it listed on their site so I assume that some Waitrose stores sell it. I think you would have most luck in a deli or ethnic store.

Asda sell Beef Jerky. Ours have it pinned up in the beer aisles.

When I lived in Bolton there was a butcher at the big market there who used to make his own and sell it in big chunks.

Long shot but you could ask around some local butchers to see if they know anyone.
Failing that, yes, ebay and online seems to be the best bet for you.

Mine arrived today only 2 day wait.

Its lovely, got the sliced, garlic and the sliced chilli.
Very good price considering what you buy them for in the pub etc.

Thanks again for the link.

My local branch of Morrisons stock Cruga Biltong . . . .

I eat it when I'm out hiking, if I feel I need a "protein boost"

I have worked with a few south africans. They used to get some of their favourite bits from home from south african supermarkets here in the UK.

Just googled this and found a few supermarkets listed.

This one delivers:-

Hope it was useful
