I hope they don't come here. I went on Outpost Gallifrey once, posted a rather 'middle of the road' comment about an episode and was soundly attacked from all sides in a really nasty, bullyish way.

In all, I got the impression OG users aren't too stable. Unlike those of us here on Digital Spy.

Except, DWO is a terrible forum. Kids there don't even know that the classic series exists and its full of unintelligent discussion. I deleted my account a while back. It's an awful place. I'm using Outpost Doctor Who myself.

Judging by your username, you're biased...

To be honest there's more Who discussion right here. Oh well.

This coulnt be further from the truth! We have members of all ages. We are also home to over 60 celebrity guests from the show who come on to answer questions from fans.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, but saying that it is full of unintelligent discussion is simply not true.

Perhaps the news reporters should try reading the forums now and again!

Im glad their closing. As DS news says they re all snobby they think they re better than everyoine else just because they teenagers who talk there yet most probably havent seen every episode.

Good riddance I say and yeah they ban people so people just keep reregistering. They call DS forum users dumb and quite frankly its wrong and they think running a forum is the most important thing it the world. Its just a website its not real liufe the mods there need to chill and lighten up.

Sure I got my own website I run and I allow freedom of speech there you can say what you want to who you want if members dont like it they can just leave. But there you say one wrong word and the teenagers cry and get you banned.

They got all childish when Eccleston quit which had a big part in the news cos he only wanted to do 1 series and when they heard they flammed flammed and flammed till the admin closed the forum till it dyed down.

Good ridance I say.

Each to their own - Sounds like you're talking about a completely different board to me tho. It's not full of teenagers at all, quite the opposite and in the few years I've been a member, I've never heard one bad word said against the fans on DS, again, quite the opposite.

DS is happily quoted with no malice whatsoever, which makes your slagging quite ironic.

I really don't know where you're coming from to be honest

I only ever used the classic who section and classic dvd threads on there. Never noticed the snobbery on there tbh.

DS did get a bit of stick from the OG spoiler thread because of this: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...d.php?t=791895

Although that thread was really dumb.

With the demise of DWF/OG. There are numerous forums springing up everywhere, another one to add to the list is this one.

A character from... either The Beano or The Dandy.
