80's music fans. Post live perfomances (good or bad) of your favourite tracks
The rules are simple:
- It has to be a track released in the 80's - It has to be performed live, with no miming I'll start with these: Blancmange - 'Living On The Ceiling' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKkEQ_GzoZs Some of you younger readers may be familiar with this tune, as it has been recently featured in a tv advert (can't remember what for) Depeche Mode - 'Told You So' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Q55Gmey7wE One of my all time favourite bands. Echo And The Bunnymen - 'Thorn Of Crowns' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2wz_3JAE64 C-c-c-cucumber....... Propaganda - 'Frozen faces' and 'Jewel' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiFbcTauGfk Love the windmill dance. New Order - 'Blue Monday' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pw5uUZkcio8 I almost wore out the 12" of this track. |

Primal Scream- Gentle Tuesday (1987)- early, Indie Primal Scream- this is earliest live performance I can find of them. Bobby Gillespie has not aged a day in 22 years!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBwCw...eature=related It is a TV recording but I'm pretty sure its live- this version of Imperial from that same night I think proves it is live- Bobby does not sound THAT stoned on tape! All the Primal Scream stuff from around 1986-89 is really influential and long forgotten material- they were a great band before Screamadelica.
