The Apprentice - Series Link Warning
carvell
03-06-2009
I have the apprentice on series link and have just noticed that something bizarre has happened for this evening's programme.

There's a programme "the apprentice: the final five" on today in the hour slot before the proper programme at 9pm. This has been given the same series ID and programme ID as the main show, which is mildly annoying because it means that's going to be recorded and you have no choice.

However, if you look in the recording schedule, the main programme from 9pm to 10pm isn't set to record, meaning that the HDR has decided to record the 8pm - 9pm programme instead of the main programme, even though the recording symbol is on the main programme in the guide.

Anyone else seeing this? Might be worth recording the main programme manually.

No I don't see this.

The two BBC1 progs have the same Series CRIDs (to be expected), and different Prog CRIDs (again, to be expected), which should mean that both get recorded.

The BBC2 prog has different Series & Prig CRIDs.

Looks OK here.

Rgds.

That's standard with double episode type broadcasts, the link to the second episode will appear in the planner when the first episode starts

Ah yeah - I could have sworn the prog IDs were the same.

Whoops!
