Apprentice contestant Lorraine caught fibbing on her CV...

“Lorraine Tighe is tonight exposed as a liar for exaggerating on her CV in show The Apprentice.

In an uncanny re-run of last year's semi-final, during her interview with managing director of Birmingham City Football, Karren Brady, the football boss's scrutiny of her work history uncovers a discrepancy.
Lorraine, who is desperate to win the £100,000 a year job with Sir Alan Sugar, comes a cropper during her interview with the high-flying businesswoman.”

I wouldn't employ any of them.

Discuss.

I didn't watch last year. What happened to the winner when he lied? And why didn't they find out before?

He lied about the amount of time he spent at uni, apparantly he said he was their for a couple of years or something and infact he left after four months, and one of the interviewers found out as he checked up on it i think. He said he lied because he felt ashamed or insecure about how little education background he had or something.

THE FUNNY BIT IS.....

He ended up winning the show! Sir Alan overlooked it mainly i think because he was the only candidate never to be in the loosing team before i think and he was really good throughout....

However, most people believed that he should never have been the winner when he told such a lie especially when the whole point of the show is to be a good business woman/man going the right route.

I would hardly call a typo of being one year out for a particularl date as a "lie". Bad proof reading, sure, but a deliberate lie?
