That was my first thought. We saw and have seen how besotted he is and with his description of her being perfection, rocking his world; is he really going to help her rival win a "job" his girlfriend is desperate to win or make someone else look good. There would be an immediate conflict in that he would want to make Yasmina look bad to make Kate look good. Where is Phil's incentive to work hard for Yasmina. If i were her I'd demand that he be swapped. It really doesn't seem fair on her. He is known for being "difficult", she has Lorraine on her team as well. It's a whole recipe for disaster. And personally, if Kate wants to impress, surely managing your boyfriend and proving this time he wasn't a distraction would be better. Unless this show was during their "break" and when they got back together :s

What I did notice was that Lorraine & Philip (along with James) were all on the same team.

I wouldn't worry.. in the past the final has often made no difference to his decision.. I think he already knows the winner before they even film the final.

I don't really care whose team he is on, just disappointed to see him back at all.
However, be a bit surprised to see him on Yasmina's team. That's tantamount to being handicapped

In that case though; wouldn't you pick all your mates to be on your team? ie. Kate pick Ben, Debra, Phil (those four seem close). According to Kim she sees Kate a lot too. I thought professionally Kate got along with Howard, but he didn't like Philip. So if she was going to pick a team of all her friends you would pick Kim, Ben, Debra and Phil no? So they must think about it. Kate must do anyway to not pick Phil. That cannot have gone down well with his ego!

The final task was filmed long ago, before their relationship really got underway and before he talked about it on You're Fired etc. He did't have a problem working against her on tasks 6 and 7. I expect he'll be professional about it.


They are on the telly, you see, so if he behaves bad everyone knows it and it harms his reputation. Generally the returning candidates do their best for their team.


I don't know why she picked the both of them.


I'd say the opposite: if she picked him people might think it was for the wrong reasons.
