Think she was trying to be funny - she's said elsewhere that she normally wears contacts and no doubt had them in.

From some angles she reminded me of Felicity Huffman (Lynette in Desparate Housewives).

Lorraine is the type of women that needed to remember she could look that good - I like the fact that she isn't looks obsessed, but it shows an increase in confidence for her to have a makeover like she did.

I can't really agree that she was either stunning, or amazing. She was still very plain looking in my view.
