With the future of the Bridge Cafe uncertain and the owners considering retirement:

Stories are circulating that Sir Alan Sugar is very keen on adding the famous West London Cafe to his enormous business portfolio.
Apparently he has some ex candidates lined up to run it and continue the legendary service that has attracted locals and 'media types' since the 1950's.
Top of his list - win or lose on Sunday- is catering expert Yasmina Siadatan who could be assisted by former contestant Ben Clarke acting as a short order chef or possible waiter.
Both contestants are apparently 'drooling at the mouth' at such an opportunity and are both very excited about SirAlan's plans.

Could get that army bloke back from last year (I think) to cook the beans and sausages over a candle, save the costs of the gas.

You mean Paul from two years back. Last year's army bloke was Simon, and he'd cook the beans properly, and keep them serving all night.

Yasmina and Simon would be a powerhouse

Apparently there are plans afoot to run the cafe 24 hours a day and so Simon would be useful if he could maintain efficiency. It is up to Sir Alan Sugar to ultimately decide.

Simon deserves a lot lot better, and it's pretty likely he's doing ok. Certainly hope so.
