I don't disagree with him,the draw was an advantage

that's such a cheek. Diversity had the best performance of the night and blew the rest out of the water. Flawless were excellent but Diversity had a creativity and edge that made them that much better, sorry.

When you have 2 equallly matched acts, you will always remember the last one you saw.

but they weren't equally matched, Diversity were better.

Being at the beginning of the show as apposed to the end makes a difference of approx 20% of the votes. I think not. Diversity won because there choreography had more imagination and humour.

Piers Morgan is a patronising, stuck up git. Flawless may be slick and technically sound, but Diversitys routines are more fun and they seem to have more personality.

Well Diversity made up over 20% against Susan Boyle,if you compare the semi final to the final

Piers Moron needs to get over himself and move on gracefully.
Initially i rated Flawless over Diversity(auditions)but in the semis and Final Diversity overtook Flawless by being just that..more diverse.
Hes using Flawless as a stick to beat Diversity with because hes still hacked off "Subo"didnt win.

I think too many sheep follow Cowell, same with American Idol, its like Simon Say

Sorry, but what exactly is the point Piers is trying to make?

That SuBo was 'robbed'?

That Diversity weren't as good as Flawless? (I thought Flawless were better at the start but even I agree that Diversity trumped them in the final)

That Diversity won purely because of the final's running order?

All of these things diminish Diversity, Flawless, SuBo and BGT.

Or is this nonsense actually aimed at the US, where there seems to be a feeling that SuBo should have won (even though just about all her 'supporters' won't even have seen the final) and Piers wants to court that audience?

So, actually, Piers, it's all about you, isn't it?:sleep:

Some people don't actually know when to shut up.

God I'm sick and tired of people putting down Diveristys win and now even the judges are at it - I read 3 articles about BGT today and not one of them made any reference what so ever to the winners

BY his logic Flawless were just lucky to get to the final as they were drawn last in the semi-final. While Diversity managed to get in DESPITE being drawn first in the hardest semifinal of them all

He's just bummed because he predicted Flawless and now looks like a prat

Didn't Piers say something like "If Susan doesn't win BGT, then he's a donut?"

Piers, you're officially a donut.

To be honest, considering the top 3 were the last 3 out, then there might be a correlation (and the first two out, Flawless and Shaz, really should have got more votes).

TBH i dont think he can be called stupid for his statement as its down to what you prefer and he always like Flawless from day one and the fact that the last three to preform were all in the final three shows something as well.

I preferred Flawless to be honest but maybe because i do preforming arts and im more on actual detail if anything. However Diversity were really entertaining

I think Piers is just trying to make excuses for his rubbish predicting skills.
he was utterly convinced that SuBo would win and he thought that Flawless would do better than Diversity. So he looks like a bit of an idiot at the moment

Well, that's a theory, of course - but that's all it will ever be, because we will never know for sure.

So what is the point of speculating about it? Who is benefitting from PM's vacuous musings? Answer: nobody except Piers.

Not just at the moment ... he's been like that for a while.

I think he's kind of got a point. The final act will always receive a high audience vote.

I think he should give more credit to Diversity for their win, they were excellent

I dunno, there are sound reasons for the correlation ... if you're performing near the end, then you are likely to be fresher in the viewers' minds when it comes to deciding who to vote for, you'll vote for who is fresher if you don't know who to vote for. I don't think it's coincidence. Shaz and Flawless were very good but because a lot of stuff had happened since then they didnt get as many votes.

I'd say that the performers to always go on first are likely to be forgotten by the end of the show, unless, they are outstandingly good. Outstandingly good enough to stay in your memory. Diversity were lucky enough to get the last slot, which might very well have won them the competition. This in no way means they were any less incredible though.

Wasn't Julian last, with Susan 3rd last and Diversity in the middle? I know they were the last 3.

Well, I missed the Final on TV live (obviously didn't vote) so I was reliant on Youtube [PVR probs]. I happened to watch Diversity first and Flawless later and would still have voted for Diversity had I had the chance.

/N.B. I was aware of the Winner result before I watched them but I don't think that affected my objectivity.
