Just thought I'd post and say that Soph has odds of 10/1 on sportingbet :|

thats the lowest odds i have seen for Sophie, she seems to be getting more popularity i wish people on the main BB forum though would stop going on about fakemances, because to me it looks like it is real

Sophie's great, it was inevitable she'd get some stick for the romance thing from some viewers but I still see her lasting a long time- she's very popular in the house

I agree. I’ve read such arguments on the forum myself, both with regard to Sophie and with other past housemates (eg. Sara BB9).

Quote:
“(I am not saying the romance is real, btw, if "real" means it continues outside the house, but what Sophie's doing seems genuine enough. I don't think it's motivated by thoughts of magazine deals.)

The way George tries to put words in guests' mouths is very irritating btw. ”

However I thought what the psychologist had to say about the issue was very favourable for Sophie and much better than I had feared. She basically said it was genuine on both sides, but that whereas to Kris it was little more than being akin to a holiday romance and a pleasant way to pass the time, Sophie’s feelings were of a deeper nature. She went on to mention things to back up this assertion.

However the “comedienne” guest was very annoying the way she kept interrupting all the time and wouldn’t allow the psychologist to fully explain herself.

I find myself liking Sophie less and less when she's with Kris, and after last nights shenanigans, I think Sophie should try and move away from him. It won't happen though and I do still think she'll be there till the midway point at least, but I want to see more of the Karly and Sophie partnership. Karly comforting Sophie in the shower was cute.

Yes, that was good. Karly would be a good friend for Sophie to keep. It was a huge mistake getting involved with Kris.

I agree Veri (long time no speak btw, I remember you from the Steph AT), I do think she genuinely likes him though.

Whether Kris really likes her, I don't know, but I do think Sophie genuinely likes him. I agree with others who like the Sophie/Karly partnership though, I think she's much more fun when she's with other people.

And despite saying that I think she'll be nominated soon the other day, I actually don't think she will now. I think she's very popular in the house.

yeah because the majority of the HM's are saying that she is really sweet so the longer they go on saying it the more chance she has got of staying to the end and winning

Three things I liked in tonight's highlights:

* Cairon and Sophie in the bedroom, when he tried to be serious and broke out laughing. tried to be serious and called her "Sophia".

* Sophie cheerful and on the verge of laughing throughout her nominations. (I wish she'd nominated different HMs though.)

* 'night Shakespeare

She's going in the right direction I think, mingling more with others! She could be an outside bet now!

I agree

I like her so much more when she's mingling with the others and not stuck with Kris. She seems so much more fun. The housemates seem to like her (I know it's still early days but the fact that she got no nominations was great) and if she carries on the way she is I can see her making the final, or staying for some time, anyway.

I must say i'm loving Sophie at the moment. She's not being nasty or doing anything to offend the others. She has a "innocent little girl" feel about her lol. She seems so innocent - yet she can probably handle herself.

My favourite housemate so far!

i thought it was funny when she kindly told Cairon where to get off "try next week or nether"

i agree, if you compare her to the models we have had over the BB years who have mostly all been stuck up and Sophie is by miles best of the lot. Sophie is the kind who would do anything for anybody

Posting to say that Sophies odds are shortening everywhere, and she's around 16/1 now.

"Rehab for fat people"

Loved Sophie having a little booze up in the highlights tonight as well.

She's funny when she's drinking

No nominations again is good- not sure she's got too many fans on the main forum but her and Rodrigo are just about the safest people in that house at the moment.

I think Sophie is great and she is a funny drunk, not aggressive. My favourite female in the house. I wish people would stop slagging her off on other threads.

Kris I would say is my least favourite male housemate, I will be glad when he is evicted as I dont think he genuinely likes Sophie and he is just using her for camera time.

I actually like watching her and Rodrigo together, they would make such a nice couple and always seem to have a laugh together. More chemistry there imo.

Joining.

I've always liked Sophie - she seems so innocent and sweet. I don't think she's a bad person at all. I wish she'd break away from Kris, though.

Popping back in to say that I do love Soph again. She's coming into her own, and I cant wait for Kris to be evicted soon, as I think she'll have a chance to shine.

I think it's been a good week for her- she's doing a good job of mixing with all the housemates.

She's gone ahead of Karly in the betting over the last few days which is good news, probably the first time it's happened since she started her thing with Kris. I like Karly too but she does has a nastier side to her than Sophie does which has started to come out recently

I spent the first few weeks shouting at the screen, oh no, you are sooooooooo stupid but I must say Sophie has grown on me this last couple of weeks.......she is undoubtedly not too bright, but she has an innocence, which reminds me a little of Helen BB2...
